Description
Lead and manage the development and evaluation of renewable energy projects and business opportunities (e.g., solar, wind, storage), including feasibility and environmental studies, permitting, procurement, and proposals; may also oversee construction and commissioning.
- • Supervise subcontractors and consultants to ensure quality, safety, and conformance to specifications and budgets.
- • Prepare RFPs for renewable project construction, equipment, and professional services.
- • Manage site assessments, resource analyses, and environmental studies for project sites.
- • Lead or support negotiations for tax incentives, PPAs, land rights, and interconnection agreements.
- • Update schedules, cost estimates, cash flows, and forecasts for renewable projects.
- • Review and evaluate bids to recommend contract awards.
- • Deliver clear project status reports to teams, management, partners, customers, and owners.
- • Review engineering and construction documents to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and permit conditions.
- • Provide technical support through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
- • Prepare project documentation, including site plans, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.
- • Manage project costs and change orders to stay within budget.
- • Develop scopes of work for design, studies, surveying, testing, or field services.
- • Coordinate development, resource assessment, engineering, interconnection, and construction activities to meet project objectives.
- • Prepare or support permit applications and regulatory filings at local, state, and federal levels.
- • Create and maintain project plans covering scope, goals, tasks, resources, schedules, risks, and contingencies.
