Description
Stock shelves and sales displays by receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise in stockrooms and on the sales floor. Verify deliveries, label prices, replenish and rotate stock, and maintain clean, safe aisles and storage areas. May operate pallet jacks or forklifts to move inventory.
- • Receive and unload merchandise deliveries.
- • Compare merchandise invoices to items received for accuracy.
- • Open, unpack, and sort stock for staging and shelving.
- • Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise.
- • Store items in an orderly, accessible manner in stockrooms or supply areas.

- • Requisition merchandise based on space, stock on hand, and demand.
- • Set up and refresh sales displays and signage.
- • Face and straighten merchandise to maintain a neat presentation.
- • Clean and maintain shelves, aisles, and stock areas per safety standards.
- • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
- • Answer customer questions and help locate merchandise.
- • Follow safety procedures and keep records on stock-handling equipment use or damage.
