Arrange and assemble text and images into camera-ready page layouts and mechanicals for print. Combine digital typesetting with traditional paste-up techniques, produce proofs, and prepare complete files and instructions for prepress and printing.
- • Assemble text and images into page layouts and mechanicals to printer specifications.
- • Place, scale, and align elements, adjusting kerning, leading, and spacing for readability.
- • Create keylines, crop marks, bleeds, and registration marks on mechanicals.
- • Generate camera-ready art, dummies, and digital proofs for review.
- • Scan, clean up, and size artwork and photos; set resolution and color mode.
