Identify, source, and sell replacement parts and equipment while advising customers and coordinating inventory in repair shop, dealership, or parts store settings.
  • • Manage shipments by selecting methods, estimating costs, and tracking packages.
  • • Use electronic catalogs, VIN/serial lookups, or systems to find part numbers and pricing.
  • • Determine required parts from inspections, fault descriptions, or customer requests.
  • • Receive and fulfill phone, counter, and online orders.
  • • Prepare quotes, sales slips, or sales contracts.
  • • Process payments and obtain credit approvals.
  • • Recommend substitutions, superseded parts, or modifications when exact items are unavailable.
  • • Inspect returned parts and process exchanges or refunds per policy.
  • • Bin, label, and store parts using established location systems.
  • • Explain part function, compatibility, and basic installation.
  • • Demonstrate equipment or accessories and explain operation.
