Identify, source, and sell replacement parts and equipment while advising customers and coordinating inventory in repair shop, dealership, or parts store settings.
- • Manage shipments by selecting methods, estimating costs, and tracking packages.
- • Use electronic catalogs, VIN/serial lookups, or systems to find part numbers and pricing.
- • Determine required parts from inspections, fault descriptions, or customer requests.
- • Receive and fulfill phone, counter, and online orders.
- • Prepare quotes, sales slips, or sales contracts.
- • Process payments and obtain credit approvals.
- • Recommend substitutions, superseded parts, or modifications when exact items are unavailable.
