Description
Plan and execute in-store merchandising, product placement, and promotional displays to drive sales, maintain accurate pricing and stock, and ensure brand and planogram compliance.
- • Use handhelds or computers to print labels, update pricing, and submit reports.
- • Photograph displays, resets, and signage for compliance reporting.
- • Plan and execute merchandising sets and feature displays to boost sales.
- • Place, verify, and update shelf tags, pricing, and product signage.
- • Reset endcaps, inline sections, and seasonal displays per schedule.
- • Interpret planograms and vendor guides; align execution with store leadership.
- • Recommend assortment, facings, or placement changes based on store conditions.
- • Coordinate with store managers, buyers, and sales reps on promotions and features.
- • Arrange products, fixtures, and props to meet brand and visual standards.
- • Assemble and install fixtures, POP, and promotional displays using hand tools.
- • Collaborate with receiving and stock teams to obtain product and POS materials.
- • Attend resets, planogram trainings, and product launch meetings.
- • Coach store staff on merchandising standards, zoning, and product placement.
- • Prepare, cut, and place shelf talkers, wobblers, clings, and other POS.
- • Set up promotional tables, bins, pallets, and vendor displays per floor plans.
- • Install seasonal decor, banners, and window clings in entrance and sales areas.
- • Maintain and refresh displays; face, clean, and replenish product as needed.
- • Rotate stock by date; remove expired, damaged, or discontinued items.
- • Lead or train reset crews or fellow merchandisers during projects.
- • Store, pack, and track inventory of fixtures, samples, tools, and POS materials.
- • Conduct on-shelf availability checks; pull and stock product from the backroom.
- • Audit promotional compliance and resolve pricing discrepancies with staff.
- • Travel between assigned stores; manage time and report task completion.
- • Follow safety, ladder, and equipment protocols during all merchandising work.
