Analyze insurance applications and portfolio data to assess risk, support underwriting decisions, and recommend pricing, coverage, or reinsurance actions for profitable risk selection.
  • • Identify and flag excessive risks; recommend declinations or mitigation options.
  • • Obtain and validate information from field representatives, medical providers, and third-party data; prepare rate indications and explain underwriting guidelines.
  • • Analyze potential losses from catastrophes or over-insurance and quantify exposure.
  • • Recommend coverage modifications, endorsements, or rating adjustments for substandard risks using established references.
  • • Analyze company records to determine in-force limits on single risks and related groups.
  • • Recommend reinsurance placement or facultative referrals for high-risk exposures.
  • • Review and analyze application and supporting documents to assess risk factors such as health, financial standing, property value, and condition.
