Description
Provide on-site and in-studio bridal and wedding-party makeup services, including skin prep, color matching, and photo-ready, long-wear application. Conduct trials and consultations, apply lashes, manage timelines, and maintain strict hygiene while coordinating with clients and vendors.
  • • Keep makeup stations clean and sanitize brushes, palettes, and tools.
  • • Apply bridal and event makeup based on client preferences, skin tone, and facial features, using brushes, sponges, and airbrush systems.
  • • Analyze skin type, undertone, and facial features to recommend looks and products.
  • • Schedule consultations, trials, and wedding-day services.
  • • Color-match and custom blend foundations, concealers, and lip colors.
  • • Maintain detailed client records, face charts, allergies, and service history.
  • • Cleanse and prep skin with appropriate skincare and primers for long wear.
  • • Process bookings, contracts, deposits, and payments.
  • • Recommend and sell touch-up kits and skincare or cosmetics for at-home prep.
  • • Research, develop, and practice new bridal makeup styles and techniques.
  • • Apply eye looks, contouring, highlighting, and set makeup with powders and sprays for durability and photography.
  • • Apply and style false lashes and groom brows to frame the face.
  • • Shape eyebrows and remove stray facial hair with tweezers or wax, as licensed.
  • • Identify contraindications or adverse skin reactions and refer clients to medical professionals when needed.
  • • Provide soothing skin prep or mini facials to enhance application, as appropriate.
  • • Offer discreet grooming and complexion-evening services for grooms and attendants.
  • • Train or supervise junior makeup artists and assistants during large events.
  • • Advise clients on skincare routines and timelines to prepare for the wedding day.
  • • Create and manage day-of timelines; coordinate with planners, photographers, and hair stylists to stay on schedule.
  • • Travel to venues; set up and break down a mobile workstation efficiently.
  • • Conduct patch tests for adhesives and products for clients with sensitivities.
  • • Order, organize, and restock makeup, disposables, and sanitation supplies.
