Description
Design and refine user interfaces for digital products to meet user, product, and brand goals. Create wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes; define patterns and components; and collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to deliver accessible, responsive experiences.
- • Create wireframes, visual comps, and interactive prototypes based on UX and visual design principles.
- • Define layout, hierarchy, and typography for screens, components, and states.
- • Use design software to craft UI elements, components, and design systems.
- • Assemble and maintain component libraries and pattern guidelines.
- • Produce pixel-accurate specs, redlines, and annotations for developer handoff.
- • Design icons, illustrations, and data visualizations for interfaces.
- • Review designs through critiques, heuristics, and accessibility checks; iterate as needed.
- • Collaborate with product managers, UX researchers, and engineers to scope and plan features.
- • Develop responsive and adaptive layouts for multiple devices and platforms.
- • Map user flows and navigation to support key tasks and goals.
- • Prepare low-fidelity sketches and concepts; refine based on feedback.
- • Analyze user research, analytics, and competitive audits to inform decisions.
- • Build clickable prototypes for stakeholder reviews and usability testing.
- • Specify microinteractions and motion to communicate behavior and feedback.
- • Maintain organized files, version history, and asset repositories.
- • Evaluate and adopt new tools, patterns, and accessibility standards.
- • Export and optimize assets for various screen densities and platforms.
- • Research target users and contexts to tailor content and workflows.
- • Write or refine interface copy, labels, and error messages.
- • Partner with engineers during implementation and conduct design QA on builds.
