Plan, direct, and coordinate portfolio strategy, security selection, trading, risk management, and client reporting for a firm, fund, or investment department.
  • • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and address portfolio or service issues.
  • • Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of portfolio managers, analysts, and traders within the investment team.
  • • Recruit investment staff.
  • • Prepare portfolio performance, attribution, and risk reports for management and clients.
  • • Evaluate fees, expenses, and operating budgets for funds or mandates.
  • • Oversee training and development for investment personnel.
  • • Conduct due diligence on securities, funds, and investment opportunities.
  • • Approve, reject, or coordinate investment proposals, allocations, and rebalancing decisions.
  • • Oversee cash management, liquidity, and trade settlement.

  • • Review portfolio holdings and exposures to ensure alignment with strategy and guidelines.
  • • Establish procedures for custody, valuation, and control of assets and records to ensure safekeeping.
  • • Review trading, pricing, and research reports to analyze market conditions and inform strategy.
