  • • Inspect, test, and fine-tune bench-built units to meet specifications, tolerances, and order requirements.
  • • Assemble micro parts and subassemblies at the bench, positioning, aligning, and fastening with hand and power tools.
  • • Align, shim, and adjust components under magnification for proper fit and smooth operation.
  • • Route and connect miniature cables, tubes, and wiring per schematics and work instructions.
  • • Label parts and apply serial or lot identification per documentation.
  • • Read blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings to determine parts and sequences.
  • • Disassemble and rework units to replace parts or prepare them for shipment or service.
  • • Measure parts and clearances with micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and indicators.
  • • Clean, deburr, and lubricate parts and subassemblies with approved materials.
  • • Drill, tap, ream, and countersink small features using bench drill presses and pin vises.
  • • File, lap, and polish parts to fit using hand and benchtop tools.
  • • Install insulation, potting, or shielding materials as required.
