Advise senior leaders on economic policy, market dynamics, and strategic decisions by translating research and data into actionable guidance. Conduct and synthesize analysis, prepare briefs and forecasts, and formulate plans to address issues in production, distribution, and fiscal or monetary policy; may collect and process economic and statistical data using sampling and econometric methods.
  • • Analyze economic and statistical data to assess trends in relevant sectors and markets.
  • • Provide strategic advice to executives, policymakers, or agency leaders on economic relationships and risks.
  • • Build and interpret models and forecasts to explain economic phenomena and project market conditions.
  • • Develop policy options, recommendations, and implementation plans based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • • Prepare decision memos, briefs, and presentations that translate complex findings into actionable insights.
  • • Establish analytical guidelines, assumptions, and standards used in forecasting and policy evaluation.
  • • Conduct and present cost-benefit, fiscal impact, and distributional analyses for proposed policies or investments.
  • • Brief and testify at regulatory or legislative sessions, summarizing expected economic impacts and trade-offs.
  • • Lead or coordinate research efforts with internal teams, consultants, or academic partners.
  • • Monitor economic indicators, regulatory developments, and geopolitical events to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
  • • Evaluate the socioeconomic impacts of taxes, regulations, services, and other public policies.
  • • Communicate economic implications of policies and market shifts to stakeholders and the public.
  • • Review and quality-assure analyses, models, and documents prepared by others.
  • • Provide expert support in litigation, rulemaking, or enforcement matters as needed.
