Description
Design, coordinate, and lead campus ministry programs that promote worship, spiritual formation, service, and community among students, faculty, and staff. Provide pastoral care, mentoring, and guidance on personal, academic, financial, and faith-related concerns while partnering with university offices and local congregations.
  • • Recruit and onboard student leaders and volunteers.
  • • Train and supervise peer ministers, interns, and part-time staff.
  • • Develop and direct small groups, Bible studies, and faith-formation programs.
  • • Select curricula and program formats suited to collegiate audiences.
  • • Manage logistics by reserving spaces, scheduling speakers, and procuring materials.
  • • Provide confidential pastoral counseling and referrals for personal, academic, or spiritual issues.
  • • Assess student engagement data to identify needs and refine offerings.
  • • Collaborate with chaplains, student affairs, and ministry partners to set goals and boost participation.
  • • Plan and execute retreats, service trips, worship services, and campus-wide events.
  • • Build relationships with university administrators, local congregations, and denominational offices to secure support.
  • • Prepare and manage budgets; analyze costs and prioritize funding.
  • • Pursue professional development and campus leadership forums to gather ideas and resources.
  • • Curate and distribute spiritual resources relevant to student life.
  • • Represent the ministry in interfaith initiatives and campus diversity efforts.
  • • Host lectures, panels, and dialogues on faith, ethics, and public life.
  • • Maintain a visible presence on campus and meet students in residence halls and common spaces.
  • • Report program outcomes and impact through talks, digital content, and written updates.
  • • Lead fundraising, donor relations, and grant writing to support campus ministry.
  • • Promote programs via campus communications, social media, and student organization channels.
