Description
Process guest orders and payments for food and beverages, operate POS systems, issue receipts, coordinate order fulfillment, and maintain a clean, well-stocked checkout area while delivering prompt, courteous service and verifying age for alcohol when required.
  • • Keep counters, registers, and beverage stations clean and sanitized.
  • • Wipe up spills and remove trash around the service counter.
  • • Fill beverage or ice dispensers and restock bottled drinks.
  • • Monitor and restock grab-and-go cases or pastry displays.
  • • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff on order status or substitutions.
  • • Carry food trays from the pass or counter to guests when needed.
  • • Handle online, phone, or third-party pickup orders.
  • • Respond to customer requests or locate items at the counter area.
  • • Follow cash-handling, food safety, and allergen procedures.
  • • Assist with end-of-shift reports and deposit preparation.
  • • Operate POS registers to process cash, card, and mobile payments.
  • • Open and close cash drawers; count, balance, and reconcile tills.
  • • Enter food and beverage orders accurately and send to kitchen or bar.
  • • Issue receipts, make change, and process refunds, voids, or exchanges per policy.
  • • Greet customers, answer menu questions, and upsell specials or add-ons.
  • • Verify customer age and ID for alcoholic beverage purchases.
  • • Package and hand off completed orders to guests.
  • • Maintain line flow and call out order numbers.
  • • Stock the register area with cups, lids, straws, napkins, condiments, and bags.
  • • Refill condiment stations and to-go utensil dispensers near the counter.
  • • Maintain adequate supplies of receipt paper and register materials.
  • • Clean and polish display cases and equipment in the service area.
