Description
Set up, stock, and maintain the breakfast service area; prepare and replenish buffet items; brew beverages; clear and reset tables; and ensure a clean, welcoming dining space while assisting guests and following food safety standards.
  • • Keep beverage and ice dispensers filled and functioning.
  • • Garnish and display foods to maintain an appealing presentation.
  • • Sweep and mop dining area floors as needed.
  • • Break down, label, and store leftovers per policy.
  • • Follow food safety and allergen procedures.
  • • Open and close the breakfast area, securing equipment and supplies.
  • • Communicate inventory needs and assist with deliveries.
  • • Set up breakfast buffet and service stations before service.
  • • Brew coffee and tea and prepare juice dispensers.
  • • Heat, portion, and replenish hot and cold breakfast items.
  • • Stock serving areas with plates, bowls, utensils, napkins, and condiments.
  • • Refill cereal, bakery items, butter, jams, and syrups.
  • • Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, and high-touch surfaces.
  • • Clear and sort dirty dishes and transport to the dishwashing area.
  • • Replace soiled linens and reset tables between guests.
  • • Monitor food levels and rotate items to maintain freshness.
  • • Check and record food and equipment temperatures.
  • • Clean up spills and remove trash and recyclables.
  • • Maintain adequate supplies of cups, glasses, and trays.
  • • Assist guests with special requests or locating items.
  • • Carry food pans and supplies from kitchen or storage to the buffet.
