Description
Fabricate, customize, and repair complete and partial dentures and related removable prosthetics per dentist prescriptions, ensuring proper function, fit, and esthetics.
  • • Read prescriptions and examine impressions, models, or scans to plan denture design and setup.
  • • Fabricate, reline, rebase, and repair complete and partial dentures, immediate dentures, and overdentures.
  • • Verify fit, occlusion, and vertical dimension using articulators, facebows, and measuring devices.
  • • Mount casts on articulators to simulate jaw movement and evaluate function.
  • • Mix and process acrylics, resins, and stones; flask, pack, and cure dentures.
  • • Prepare and fit metal partial frameworks; design rests, clasps, and major connectors.
  • • Trim, finish, and polish dentures and frameworks to lab standards.
  • • Pour impressions and fabricate accurate working and master casts.
  • • Invest, boil out, and deflask processed cases safely and efficiently.
  • • Set denture teeth in wax, establish occlusal schemes, and contour wax for try-in.
  • • Apply and sculpt wax over setups and frameworks prior to processing.
  • • Repair fractures, chips, and voids using acrylic resins.
  • • Fabricate custom trays, record bases, and wax bite rims.
  • • Contour and characterize gingival anatomy in wax and acrylic for esthetics.
  • • Train or supervise junior denture technicians and bench workers.
  • • Rebase, reline, and replace missing teeth or wire reinforcements as needed.
  • • Shape and solder wire, mesh, or reinforcement for dentures and partials.
