Description
Provide technical support to users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in person, by phone, and online. Install and configure systems and peripherals, assist with operating systems and applications, document solutions, and escalate complex problems as needed.
  • • Respond to user inquiries on hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity to resolve issues.
  • • Run diagnostics and test systems to verify operation and identify errors.
  • • Install, configure, and perform minor repairs on computers, software, and peripherals per standards.
  • • Monitor daily performance and availability of desktops, applications, and network services.
  • • Set up workstations for employees, including imaging, cabling, operating systems, drivers, and required software.
  • • Document tickets, incidents, resolutions, asset details, and installation activities.
  • • Use manuals, knowledge bases, and diagnostics to troubleshoot and provide technical assistance.
  • • Gather user requirements and provide input on system changes or enhancements.
  • • Create how-to guides and train users on the proper use of hardware, software, and security practices.
  • • Escalate major issues and coordinate service with vendors or higher-tier technicians.
  • • Evaluate hardware and software options and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • • Maintain current knowledge of tools and technologies through training and self-study.
  • • Stage, image, and test equipment; verify orders and prepare devices for deployment.
  • • Configure and customize commercial applications and settings to meet internal needs.
  • • Assist with workflow analyses and cost comparisons for office automation or tool selection.
  • • Provide guidance to junior support staff and contribute to special project work.
