Description
Install, service, adjust, and repair vending machines, including snack, beverage, and coffee units; diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and refrigeration issues; maintain payment systems; and install and transport units as needed.
- • Stock machines with products, ingredients, change, and other supplies.
- • Maintain records of merchandise dispensed, inventory levels, and cash collected.
- • Collect cash and digital payment reports, prepare route settlements, and reconcile accounts with clients.
- • Respond to service calls to maintain and repair vending machines.
- • Inspect machines to diagnose faults and clear jams, bill acceptor errors, or stuck products.
- • Test machines for proper vending, temperature control, and cash/cashless payment operation.
- • Coordinate major repairs or arrange machine removal when needed.
- • Clean, lubricate, and sanitize machine components per standards.
- • Record route, maintenance, and transaction data; report discrepancies.
- • Adjust refrigeration systems, thermostats, and regulators.
- • Maintain detailed maintenance and repair logs.
- • Replace defective parts such as motors, vend mechanisms, bill validators, coin mechs, control boards, and refrigeration components.
- • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and refrigeration systems using hand tools, test equipment, soldering tools, and schematics.
- • Order and track parts required for repairs.
- • Disassemble and reassemble machines per specifications using hand and power tools.
- • Install machines and make required electrical and water connections in compliance with codes.
- • Use service manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic software to troubleshoot.
- • Transport and position machines at client locations.
