Description
Plan, coordinate, and deliver civil engineering projects from design through construction and closeout, managing technical reviews, schedules, budgets, procurement, and field oversight for infrastructure and facilities while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • • Review and verify load, grade, hydraulic, and material calculations to confirm design specifications.
  • • Conduct site visits to track progress and ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, safety, and QA/QC.
  • • Coordinate surveying and layout, validating control points, grades, and elevations.
  • • Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and budget updates to support feasibility and cost control.
  • • Develop and present technical reports, bid packages, permits, and right-of-way documentation.
  • • Oversee soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel testing; review results for acceptance and corrective actions.
  • • Coordinate traffic, geotechnical, and environmental studies to assess project impacts and inform design.
  • • Integrate sustainability, stormwater, and energy-efficient criteria into plans and specifications.
  • • Manage design and compliance for wastewater, stormwater, and hazardous materials handling as required.
  • • Develop and maintain project schedules and look-aheads; track milestones and report variances.
  • • Lead day-to-day engineering coordination, ensuring compliance with codes, permits, and environmental and safety regulations.
  • • Maintain the risk register; identify, mitigate, and report technical, schedule, cost, and environmental risks.
  • • Provide technical guidance and constructability reviews; resolve RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications with stakeholders.
  • • Manage procurement packages, change orders, and field engineering; support commissioning and turnover.
  • • Develop and review civil plans and models in CAD/BIM; coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and clash resolution.
  • • Analyze surveys, maps, geospatial data, drawings, and models to validate design intent and resolve conflicts.
