Description
Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance at a biomass power generation facility. Supervise O&M staff and contractors, coordinate plant activities, and ensure safety, reliability, regulatory compliance, and budget performance.
- • Oversee testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution equipment and plant systems.
- • Manage parts, spares, and consumables inventory and procurement.
- • Maintain effective communications among O&M teams and with grid and site stakeholders.
- • Ensure accurate logging of operational and maintenance data in DCS/CMMS and logbooks.
- • Direct operators to adjust controls to meet generation targets and grid requirements.

- • Inspect equipment and processes to optimize capacity, availability, and efficiency.
- • Analyze production and demand trends to identify performance improvements.
- • Direct plant and substation operations, maintenance, repairs, and testing.
- • Monitor KPIs and DCS parameters to track plant status and respond to deviations.
- • Conduct routine field inspections to verify safe, compliant operations.
- • Lead EHS programs, training, audits, and incident response.
