Description
Handle and remove nuisance or dangerous wildlife from homes and businesses by conducting inspections, humane capture, relocation or euthanasia per regulations, and implementing exclusion and cleanup while ensuring safety and legal compliance.
- • Respond to reports of nuisance or dangerous wildlife and assess risks on-site.
- • Inspect structures and grounds to locate entry points, nests, and damage.
- • Develop and explain removal and exclusion plans to clients.
- • Humanely trap, capture, and remove wildlife using appropriate tools and PPE.
- • Set, monitor, and reset traps in compliance with legal check intervals.
- • Evaluate captured animals for injury or illness and determine disposition.
- • Transport wildlife to approved release sites, rehabilitation facilities, or holding enclosures.
- • Perform humane euthanasia when required by law or safety protocols.
- • Install exclusion devices, seal entry points, and perform minor repairs to prevent re-entry.
- • Advise on habitat modification to deter wildlife activity.
- • Clean and disinfect affected areas, remove carcasses, and remediate droppings and odors.
- • Maintain detailed service reports, inspection notes, and records of captures and dispositions.
- • Communicate status updates, safety guidance, and prevention tips to clients.
- • Comply with wildlife permits, local regulations, and public health guidance; coordinate with agencies as needed.
