Description
Supervise and coordinate ramp operations for aircraft turnarounds, including marshaling, loading and unloading baggage and cargo, and safe use of ground service equipment. Ensure adherence to load plans and weight-and-balance limits, coordinate fueling, deicing, and pushback, and lead ramp crews in safety, on-time performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • • Allocate and stage cargo and baggage per load plan to optimize space and balance.
  • • Verify compartment load weights and limits using load sheets and mobile systems; communicate with load control.
  • • Direct ramp crews in aircraft arrival, marshaling, chocking, loading, unloading, securing, and staging.
  • • Ensure proper placement and restraint of cargo and baggage in compliance with weight-and-balance and DG rules.
  • • Coordinate fueling, deicing, catering, ground power, and air services to meet departure times.
  • • Oversee pushback and towing operations with proper clearances, headset communication, and safety checks.
  • • Train and coach ramp agents on safety procedures, FOD control, and equipment operation.
  • • Monitor ramp area for hazards, enforce PPE use, and document incidents or delays.
