Lead enterprise-wide supply chain strategy and operations—procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, and inventory—to optimize cost, service, quality, and safety. Set policies, govern processes, and direct network design, technology, and talent to meet growth, compliance, and sustainability goals.
- • Set end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with corporate objectives and market conditions.
- • Own S&OP/IBP governance to balance demand, supply, and financial plans.
- • Define service levels, inventory policies, and working capital targets across the network.
- • Approve transportation and distribution network designs and consolidation initiatives.
- • Direct enterprise negotiations for strategic suppliers, 3PLs, and freight carriers.
- • Establish supplier segmentation, selection, and development frameworks.
- • Chair executive supplier reviews; resolve performance escalations and risks.
- • Oversee plant and DC footprint, layout, and warehousing strategies.

- • Lead cost-to-serve and inventory analytics to improve turns and reduce waste.
- • Govern engineering change, NPI, and product phase-out readiness in materials and logistics.
- • Align supply chain plans with sales, marketing, finance, production, and quality.
- • Approve technology roadmaps and investments for planning, WMS, TMS, and visibility.
- • Direct sustainability strategy, including lifecycle assessments and emissions reduction.
- • Set policies for circularity, reverse logistics, and responsible product take-back.
- • Establish guidelines to reuse or recycle materials and reduce virgin material consumption.
- • Evaluate partners’ ESG performance and carbon footprints; enforce standards.
- • Ensure compliance with environmental, trade, and regulatory requirements.
- • Determine capital equipment priorities and staffing models for logistics operations.
- • Oversee strategic sourcing, category strategies, and procurement governance.
- • Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across supply chain functions.
- • Monitor demand signals and market changes; adjust plans and capacities accordingly.
- • Approve onboarding and qualification of new suppliers and technologies.
- • Set standard costs, should-cost models, and cost reduction roadmaps.
- • Assess and certify supplier manufacturing capabilities and capacity.
- • Manage supply chain budgets, P&L impacts, and savings tracking.
- • Direct 3PL selection, contracts, SLAs, and performance management.
- • Lead supply risk management, resilience, and business continuity planning.
- • Guide talent development, organization design, and succession for supply chain teams.
