Description
Design, conduct, and report evaluations of programs and policies to determine effectiveness, efficiency, and equity. Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, assess implementation and outcomes, and provide evidence-based recommendations to improve programs and inform decision-making.
  • • Plan and conduct formative, process, outcome, and impact evaluations of programs and policies.
  • • Develop evaluation frameworks, logic models, and performance indicators.
  • • Design and pilot data collection tools such as surveys, interview guides, and observation protocols.
  • • Collect data via interviews, focus groups, surveys, administrative records, and document reviews.
  • • Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to assess program effectiveness and equity.
  • • Ensure data quality and ethical standards, including confidentiality and informed consent.
  • • Prepare reports, briefs, and dashboards that summarize methods, findings, and implications.
  • • Present evaluation results at stakeholder meetings and professional conferences.
  • • Translate complex methods and results for non-technical audiences.
  • • Provide evidence-based recommendations and co-develop improvement plans with program staff.
  • • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, subject-matter experts, and community partners.
  • • Advise administrators and policymakers on the implications of evaluation findings for policy and practice.
  • • Manage evaluation work plans, timelines, budgets, and required approvals (e.g., IRB).
  • • Supervise or coordinate the work of analysts, data managers, or vendors supporting evaluations.
  • • Write proposals or evaluation sections for grants and contracts to secure project resources.
