Description
Maintain accurate inventory records for materials and products. Duties include receiving and recording stock, conducting counts, reconciling discrepancies, labeling, and organizing storage locations. May prepare stock transfers and assist with replenishment.
  • • Prepare and process inventory documents, such as requisitions, stock transfers, and work orders.
  • • Record quantities, locations, and lot or serial numbers in the inventory system.
  • • Coordinate with purchasing, receiving, and production to ensure accurate inventory transactions and timely replenishment.
  • • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, shortages, or nonconforming materials.
  • • Requisition, receive, and store materials and supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • • Calculate reorder quantities, safety stock, or storage capacity using system tools or spreadsheets.
  • • Monitor inventory aging and rotate stock to minimize obsolescence and waste.
  • • Examine received goods and compare with purchase orders or packing slips to verify accuracy.
  • • Label bins and items with part numbers, barcodes, lot codes, and storage locations.
  • • Issue and deliver materials to departments per pick lists or work orders.
  • • Maintain bin locations and perform cycle counts and full physical inventories.
