- • Obtain informed consent and screen patients for contraindications, allergies, and pregnancy before angiography.
- • Dilate pupils and prepare patients for retinal imaging procedures.
- • Establish venous access and administer fluorescein or indocyanine green dyes as ordered.
- • Perform fluorescein and ICG angiography, capturing time-sequenced retinal images.
- • Perform OCT and OCT angiography of the macula, optic nerve, and posterior pole.
- • Capture color fundus photography and fundus autofluorescence images.
- • Monitor patients during and after dye injection; recognize and respond to adverse reactions.
- • Measure and record baseline visual acuity and vital signs as needed.
- • Operate, calibrate, and maintain retinal cameras, OCT devices, and related imaging equipment.
- • Clean and disinfect lenses, chin rests, and contact imaging probes per infection-control standards.
