Description
Diagnose and treat infertility and hormonal disorders affecting reproduction. Provide advanced fertility care, including ovulation induction, assisted reproductive technologies (ART), and minimally invasive reproductive surgery. Counsel patients on family-building options and fertility preservation, and coordinate early pregnancy care before transition to obstetrics.
- • Evaluate and treat individuals and couples for infertility and reproductive endocrine disorders.
- • Obtain detailed reproductive histories and perform focused exams.
- • Order and interpret labs, ultrasound, semen analyses, and genetic tests.
- • Explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, and procedures; obtain informed consent.
- • Prescribe ovulation induction and hormonal therapies; design individualized stimulation protocols.
- • Monitor follicular development and endometrial response; adjust protocols based on treatment response.
- • Perform oocyte retrievals and embryo transfers.
- • Perform office hysteroscopy and minimally invasive surgery for endometriosis, fibroids, adhesions, or tubal disease.
- • Coordinate IUI, IVF, ICSI, PGT, donor gamete, and gestational carrier cycles.
- • Manage treatment complications, including ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome and early ectopic pregnancy.
- • Provide preconception counseling and guidance on lifestyle, timing, and fertility preservation.
- • Maintain accurate cycle, medication, consent, and outcome documentation in compliance with regulations.
- • Collaborate with urologists, genetic counselors, mental health providers, embryologists, and obstetric providers.
- • Develop and oversee ART clinic protocols, quality assurance, donor programs, and cryopreservation services.
- • Report outcomes and quality metrics to required registries and stakeholders; participate in research and quality improvement.
