Description
Lead orchestras in rehearsal, performance, and recording, shaping interpretation, tempo, balance, and style; select and program repertoire; collaborate with soloists, composers, and production teams; and oversee artistic preparation, staging, and ensemble standards.

- • Use baton and gestures to communicate tempo, phrasing, articulation, color, balance, and dynamics.

- • Contribute to budgeting, service planning, and contract compliance with administrative staff.
- • Participate in educational activities, outreach, and pre-concert talks.
- • Support program concepts, guest artist selections, and touring plans with artistic leadership.
- • Coordinate guest conducting and tours with management, including repertoire and logistics.
