Analyze local, regional, national, and online markets to evaluate demand, customer segments, and competitive dynamics. Collect and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to estimate potential sales, forecast trends, and inform product, pricing, distribution, and promotional decisions. Design research plans, analyze web and sales metrics when relevant, and deliver actionable insights and reports to stakeholders.
  • • Design and conduct consumer research, collaborating with marketing teams, statisticians, and external vendors.
  • • Present insights and recommendations to management on promotion, distribution, design, and pricing.
  • • Compile competitor profiles and analyze their pricing, sales performance, channels, and messaging.
  • • Monitor industry statistics, trade publications, and emerging trends.
  • • Develop and test data-collection methods and instruments (e.g., surveys, polls, questionnaires); source and validate secondary data.
  • • Support identification of audience and advertising research needs and prioritize studies.
  • • Oversee or coordinate survey fieldwork and quality control for interviewers or panels.
  • • Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying behavior to identify market opportunities and demand drivers.
  • • Prepare clear reports and dashboards, visualizing findings and translating complex analyses into actionable insights.
  • • Measure and track customer and employee satisfaction using surveys and feedback data.
  • • Forecast and monitor marketing and sales trends using statistical analyses and models.
  • • Provide market and competitive intelligence to clarify the company’s position and strategy.
  • • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications using KPIs and experiments.
