Description
Analyze and optimize day-to-day operations by studying processes, performance data, and resource utilization; design procedures, controls, and KPIs; and prepare SOPs and reports to help management operate more efficiently and effectively. Lead implementation of process and systems changes and monitor results for continuous improvement.
- • Collect and consolidate operational data, process maps, and stakeholder requirements.
- • Analyze KPIs, cycle times, and costs to identify bottlenecks and quantify impact.
- • Develop and compare alternative process designs, staffing models, or policy changes.
- • Partner with operations, IT, and finance to pilot and roll out new workflows or tools.
- • Establish standards for data capture, retention, and retrieval to support compliance.
- • Review and refine reports, dashboards, and forms for accuracy, cadence, and usability.
- • Conduct interviews and on-site observations to understand methods, tools, and resource use.
- • Document findings and build business cases with prioritized, costed recommendations.
- • Create SOPs and training materials; train teams on new processes, KPIs, and systems.
- • Plan and execute studies on capacity, throughput, information flow, inventory, and cost-to-serve.
- • Recommend and evaluate technology, equipment, or layout changes to improve efficiency and space utilization.
