Description
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate video, communications, and sensor data from surveillance systems and intelligence sources. Correlate findings with law enforcement databases, GIS, and open-source data to detect threats, support investigations, and help anticipate and prevent organized crime and terrorism.
  • • Monitor and analyze live and recorded video, audio, and sensor feeds to detect threats.
  • • Predict gang, organized crime, or terrorist activity using surveillance and intelligence analyses.
  • • Study patterns related to narcotics, money laundering, gangs, theft rings, terrorism, and other threats observed in surveillance.
  • • Design, use, or maintain VMS, GIS mapping, and AI video/audio analytics platforms.
  • • Build behavioral and movement profiles to associate subjects with criminal networks.
  • • Analyze call detail records and communications metadata to map activity, size, and location of groups.
  • • Exploit aerial imagery, radar, RF spectrum, or other technical sensors to enrich surveillance.
  • • Collect intelligence via fixed and mobile cameras, ALPR, drones, sensors, and public records.
  • • Fuse surveillance outputs with law enforcement databases and other resources.
  • • Link subjects, devices, vehicles, and locations to criminal events and interrelationships.
  • • Operate cameras, radios, interception, or monitoring tools within legal authorities to document activities.
  • • Produce reports, briefings, timelines, maps, and link charts from surveillance analysis, maintaining chain of custody.
  • • Develop plans for communications interception or technical surveillance collection.
  • • Track assets, facilities, vehicles, and logistics routes identified through surveillance.
  • • Validate surveillance-derived findings with HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and records.
  • • Collaborate with partner agencies, fusion centers, and security operations centers to share surveillance intelligence.
  • • Create coverage models and response tactics based on surveillance gaps and risk.
  • • Support interviews and operations by providing imagery, clips, and communication timelines.
  • • Translate or decode captured communications or codewords as required.
  • • Identify patterns and trendlines in surveillance data to inform investigations.
  • • Identify collection gaps and recommend sensor placement, tasking, or analytic improvements.
