Description
Assess, identify, and oversee the removal, packaging, transport, and disposal of hazardous materials, such as asbestos, lead-based paint, chemicals, oils, fuels, radioactive materials, and contaminated soil. Develop work plans, conduct sampling, and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA/DOT and state rules while coordinating contractors, carriers, and disposal facilities. Requires specialized training and certifications (e.g., HAZWOPER, RCRA/DOT, asbestos/lead, radiation, confined space) and may supervise field operations.

- • Prepare waste profiles, shipping papers, and documentation for removal, storage, and disposal.
