Description
Lead and coordinate forest management operations and staff on public and private lands to meet economic, recreation, and conservation goals. Oversee inventories, planning, contracting, compliance, and safety; guide habitat, water, and soil protection; and direct planting, monitoring, and harvesting schedules.

- • Select, brief, and manage contractors for logging, road layout, and related services.
- • Plan cutting programs and oversee timber sales to meet production goals.
- • Coordinate wildlife monitoring and mitigate operational impacts on habitats.
- • Oversee construction and maintenance of recreation facilities, towers, trails, roads, and bridges to standard.
- • Coordinate permissions and access with forest owners for inventory and operations.
- • Provide technical guidance to landowners, agencies, and company stakeholders.
