Supervise daily restaurant operations by coordinating front- and back-of-house teams that prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring quality, safety, and exceptional guest service.
  • • Assign sections, sidework, and stations based on business needs.
  • • Estimate daily prep and par levels with the kitchen team.
  • • Reduce waste and shrink by enforcing controls and procedures.
  • • Ensure portioning, ticket timing, and station setups meet standards.
  • • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance service and safety.
  • • Assist host team with greeting, seating, and menu presentation during peak periods.
  • • Balance POS and cash receipts at end of shifts.
  • • Resolve guest complaints and service issues promptly.
  • • Train staff in service standards, food handling, sanitation, and safety.
  • • Inspect stations, equipment, and dining areas for cleanliness and compliance.
  • • Monitor food, beverage, and smallwares inventory; report and address shortages.
  • • Assist servers with presenting checks and processing payments.
  • • Forecast staffing and supply needs based on reservations and sales trends.
  • • Requisition or purchase supplies to maintain pars and service quality.
  • • Manage reservations, waitlists, and large-party bookings.
  • • Maintain equipment logs and coordinate repairs.
  • • Evaluate new menu items, vendors, and products with management.
  • • Handle cash, prepare deposits, and verify tip reporting.
  • • Oversee and assist with opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
  • • Observe performance, coach staff, and document incidents.
  • • Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and timekeeping; provide input on hiring decisions.
  • • Step in to expedite, run food, or serve beverages as needed.
  • • Maintain shift logs, sales reports, waste sheets, and incident reports.
  • • Lead pre-shift meetings and coordinate service with kitchen and bar.
  • • Ensure compliance with health department regulations and alcohol service laws.
  • • Monitor table turns, pacing, and wait times to optimize guest flow.
