Description
Oversee daily food service operations, supervising staff who prepare and serve food to ensure quality, safety, and efficient service.
- • Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the shift.
- • Resolve guest complaints and service issues.
- • Train staff in food preparation, service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for menu production.
- • Forecast staffing, equipment, and supply needs using sales and menu plans.
- • Order or requisition supplies and coordinate timely deliveries.
- • Schedule parties and manage reservations.
- • Help develop departmental objectives, budgets, policies, and SOPs.
- • Develop equipment maintenance schedules and arrange repairs.
- • Evaluate new products, menu items, and vendors for suitability.
- • Perform cash handling, deposit preparation, and assist with payroll.
- • Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning.

- • Recommend improvements to procedures and performance to enhance quality and safety.
- • Greet and seat guests during peak periods as needed.
- • Present checks and process payments.
- • Hire, onboard, schedule staff, and manage timekeeping.
- • Assist with food preparation and service during busy periods.
- • Conduct meetings and coordinate menu planning and service details with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
