Description
Plant, propagate, cultivate, and harvest greenhouse-grown vegetables, ornamentals, and nursery plants. Use hand tools and greenhouse equipment to pot, transplant, prune, trellis, weed, fertilize, irrigate, and apply pesticides. Monitor and regulate climate, irrigation, and sanitation; clean, grade, sort, pack, and load products; and maintain greenhouse structures, benches, and systems.

- • Propagate, transplant, pot, and label plants.
- • Regulate temperature, humidity, CO2, light, and ventilation.
- • Set up, operate, and monitor irrigation and fertigation systems.

- • Record crop schedules, inputs, treatments, yields, and costs.
- • Maintain inventory and order seeds, media, containers, and supplies.
- • Release beneficial insects and support integrated pest management.
- • Train and monitor seasonal workers during peak periods.
- • Communicate crop status and issues to supervisors or growers.
- • Set up and monitor hydroponic or soilless systems and nutrients.
- • Provide basic product care advice in retail greenhouse settings.
- • Follow safety procedures and chemical handling regulations.
