Description
Perform manual field and greenhouse work to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops and horticultural products. Use hand tools and basic farm machinery; prepare soil; transplant, weed, thin, and prune; apply fertilizers and pesticides; set up and maintain irrigation; and clean, grade, sort, pack, and load harvested products. May build trellises, repair fences and farm structures, and maintain equipment.

- • Inspect harvested products and packaging quality.
- • Move plants and materials using wheelbarrows, carts, or tractors.
- • Bundle, wrap roots, and pack plants or produce to fill orders.
- • Load agricultural products into trucks and drive to storage or market.
- • Spread soil amendments and fertilizers by hand or with equipment.
- • Weed, water, fertilize, and prune plants using hand tools.
- • Follow safety procedures and comply with pesticide handling rules.
