Plan, lead, and coordinate before- and after-school programs, overseeing staffing, safety, budgeting, scheduling, and partnerships to deliver compliant, high-quality academic support, enrichment, and care.
  • • Confer with parents, school staff, and site leaders on program activities, policies, and student behavior or learning concerns.
  • • Prepare and maintain attendance, incident, licensing, payroll, and program records; ensure accurate reporting to districts and agencies.
  • • Set program standards and goals and establish policies, procedures, and curricula to achieve them.
  • • Monitor student engagement and progress in homework and enrichment and support staff in resolving issues.
  • • Develop and manage budgets; allocate funds for staff, supplies, snacks, transportation, and equipment; approve purchases.
  • • Recruit, hire, onboard, schedule, train, and evaluate site coordinators, group leaders, and volunteers; recommend personnel actions.
  • • Direct and coordinate daily operations across sites, ensuring appropriate ratios, coverage, and supervision.
  • • Plan, select, and evaluate instructional methods and content for homework help, enrichment, SEL, and recreation.
  • • Interpret childcare licensing, school district policies, and safety codes; implement procedures for security, health, and facility maintenance.
  • • Determine program scope, hours, and site schedules; plan staffing, space use, and transportation needs.
  • • Review and assess program effectiveness, quality, and regulatory compliance; implement improvements.
  • • Provide direct supervision or lead activities when needed to ensure coverage and quality.
  • • Prepare budget requests and grants; track funding and compliance deliverables.
  • • Develop family handbooks, staff manuals, lesson templates, and promotional materials; oversee communications.
  • • Analyze enrollment trends, attendance data, and community needs to forecast capacity and adjust offerings.
  • • Build and maintain partnerships with schools, districts, community organizations, and vendors; communicate program policies.
  • • Organize and lead committees or workgroups of specialists, parents, and staff to advise on program quality and initiatives.
