  • • Create sculptures by hand using carving, modeling, casting, welding, and assemblage techniques.
  • • Cut, shape, join, and refine stone, metal, wood, clay, and mixed media with hand and power tools.
  • • Select materials based on structural needs, texture, color, weight, scale, and environment.
  • • Apply surface treatments such as patinas, paints, sealers, and polishing to finish works.
