Description
Serve as the primary guest contact at the front desk by greeting and registering guests, managing reservations and room assignments, issuing keys, processing payments, and answering inquiries. Coordinate guest requests with housekeeping and maintenance, handle messages and mail, and provide local information and basic business services.
  • • Greet guests, verify identification, and confirm reservations.
  • • Check guests in and out, assign rooms, and issue keys using the PMS.
  • • Manage new, modified, and canceled reservations and room availability.
  • • Process payments, deposits, refunds, and adjustments; balance cash and folios.
  • • Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally.
  • • Provide directions and local recommendations for dining, shopping, and attractions.
  • • Arrange transportation, including taxis, rideshares, and airport shuttles.
  • • Make dining, spa, and activity reservations upon request.
  • • Coordinate guest requests with housekeeping and maintenance and track follow-up.
  • • Receive, store, and deliver luggage and packages; manage lost and found.
  • • Provide business services such as printing, scanning, faxing, and shipping.
  • • Handle guest complaints and service recovery or escalate as needed.
  • • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area and replenish supplies.
  • • Prepare and program room keys, access cards, and parking permits.
  • • Maintain logs, incident reports, and thorough shift handovers.
  • • Follow safety, security, and privacy policies and monitor access points and alarms.
