Description
Teach middle school students foundational business concepts—such as entrepreneurship, personal finance, marketing, digital literacy, and workplace skills—through standards-aligned, project-based instruction in a CTE program.
- • Establish and enforce classroom expectations and procedures for a safe, productive business lab.
- • Instruct and monitor students in the safe, ethical use and care of computers, software, and business equipment.
- • Teach business concepts in whole-group and small-group settings using lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and simulations.
- • Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and CTE documentation per district and state requirements.
- • Prepare lesson materials, digital resources, and the classroom or lab for activities.

- • Perform assigned supervisory duties such as hallway, cafeteria, and bus duty.
- • Advise or sponsor business-related extracurriculars, such as FBLA Middle Level or entrepreneurship clubs.
- • Manage inventory, ordering, and maintenance of lab devices, software licenses, and classroom supplies.
- • Facilitate career awareness activities, age-appropriate job shadowing, and mock interviews.
- • Teach ethical online behavior, digital citizenship, and financial responsibility.
