Description
Plan, shoot, and edit video content for events, corporate, and marketing projects, operating cameras, lighting, and audio to capture high-quality footage. Manage pre-production through delivery, collaborating with clients and crews to produce videos that meet creative and technical standards.
- • Plan shoots with clients; develop concepts, shot lists, and schedules.
- • Operate digital video cameras to capture footage for events, corporate, advertising, and online content.
- • Compose and frame shots; control lenses, filters, and camera settings to achieve the desired look.
- • Pull focus and operate zooms per creative direction.
- • Use tripods, sliders, jibs, dollies, gimbals, or handheld rigs to execute camera movement.
- • Set and adjust exposure and white balance; configure shutter, ISO, and picture profiles; set up and position lights, modifiers, and reflectors.
- • Collaborate with clients, directors, producers, and sound and lighting technicians on shot sequences and style.
- • Scout and evaluate locations for power, acoustics, light, permits, and potential issues.
- • Direct talent, interview subjects, assistants, or second shooters; provide cues and blocking.
- • Configure cameras and accessories for time-lapse, slow motion, green screen, or other effects.
- • Monitor and record audio; place microphones and adjust levels to ensure clean sound.
- • Review dailies and adjust techniques to resolve exposure, motion, and focus problems.
- • Interpret briefs and specifications to determine gear, workflow, and setup requirements.
- • Edit footage using non-linear editing software; assemble sequences, add music, VO, and sound design.
- • Apply color correction and grading; add titles, captions, and basic motion graphics.
- • Prepare and deliver exports optimized for web, social, and broadcast specifications.
- • Set up and manage live streams or multi-cam recordings for events.
- • Offload, back up, and organize media; maintain project files and archives.
- • Test, clean, and maintain cameras, lenses, gimbals, audio recorders, and accessories.
- • Keep current with camera, lighting, and post-production technologies and trends.
- • Ensure safety, permits, and releases are secured for locations and talent.
