Description
Prepare, mix, and bake ingredients to produce breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, pastries, and other baked goods.
  • • Monitor product color and adjust oven temperature, humidity, or conveyor speed.
  • • Preheat and set ovens; load and unload baked items.
  • • Combine measured ingredients using mixers, blenders, or kettles.
  • • Weigh and measure ingredients for batters, doughs, fillings, and icings.
  • • Roll, knead, cut, and shape dough for various products.
  • • Pan or mold dough and bake in ovens or on grills.
  • • Inspect raw materials for quality and specifications.
  • • Scale recipes to meet production needs.
  • • Apply glazes, icings, and toppings.
  • • Clean and maintain equipment; ensure health and safety compliance.
  • • Decorate cakes and pastries.
  • • Set time and speed controls on mixing and cooking equipment.
  • • Maintain inventory and production records.
  • • Coordinate bakery deliveries.
  • • Order, receive, and store supplies and equipment.
