Description
Compete in baseball games, executing offensive and defensive duties to help the team win under league rules and team strategies.
  • • Attend team practices, batting practice, fielding drills, bullpen sessions, and meetings.
  • • Play in scheduled baseball games under league rules, executing assigned offensive and defensive roles.
  • • Train under coaches and athletic trainers to improve hitting, pitching, fielding, baserunning, and game awareness.
  • • Care for and manage baseball gear, including gloves, bats, helmets, cleats, and protective equipment.
  • • Maintain peak fitness through strength and conditioning, recovery protocols, nutrition, and medical guidance.
  • • Review video and analytics to assess performance and refine mechanics and approach.
  • • Represent the team in media interviews, fan engagements, and community or charity events.
  • • Provide leadership in the clubhouse and on the field, serving as captain or mentoring younger players when assigned.
  • • Receive scouting reports and game plans from coaches and debrief after games to discuss adjustments.
