Description
Lead the visual direction for campaigns across print, digital, broadcast, and film; develop design concepts and presentation approaches, and direct teams producing artwork and layouts.
- • Define layout and presentation approaches; specify typography, imagery, graphics, animation, video, and sound.
- • Review and approve art, copy, and proofs.
- • Manage projects and accounts within budget and timelines.
- • Collaborate with creative, copy, and production leads to align on client goals and concepts.
- • Present concepts and final layouts to clients and stakeholders for approval.
- • Meet with clients to clarify objectives, budget, background, style, and technique.
- • Hire, mentor, and direct designers, illustrators, and production staff.
- • Partner with creative directors to develop design solutions.
- • Ensure illustrative and design materials meet brand standards and specifications.
- • Oversee photo and video shoots and print sessions to secure required assets.
- • Create or commission custom illustrations and graphic elements as needed.
- • Provide clear layout annotations and typographic specifications for production and vendors.
- • Negotiate with printers and vendors on services, schedules, and budgets.
- • Guide interface and visual design for multimedia products and experiences.
- • Develop storyboards and shot lists to communicate sequence and timing for video or TV.
- • Research and adopt current design trends, tools, and production technologies.
