Description
Design and implement responsive, accessible website interfaces and visual assets. Create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems; translate UX requirements into standards-compliant HTML/CSS and component specifications. Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to integrate designs, optimize usability and performance across browsers and devices, and maintain brand consistency.
  • • Design responsive website layouts, components, and visual assets.
  • • Build high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • • Translate UX requirements into semantic HTML/CSS and design specs.
  • • Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
  • • Perform and coordinate design updates and content layout changes.
  • • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to prioritize UI needs and solutions.
  • • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device UI testing and resolve visual defects.
  • • Ensure WCAG-compliant, accessible designs and front-end patterns.
  • • Review front-end code and components for standards, semantics, and compatibility.
  • • Optimize images, fonts, and assets to improve page performance.
  • • Document UI specifications, redlines, interaction states, and content guidelines.
  • • Organize and version design files, assets, and prototypes for recovery and reuse.
  • • Research and evaluate UI patterns, tools, and front-end technologies.
  • • Define information architecture, navigation structures, and content hierarchies.
  • • Design e-commerce flows, product pages, and checkout UX as needed.
  • • Coordinate with CMS administrators to implement templates and themes.
  • • Establish procedures and governance for ongoing UI revisions.
  • • Recommend front-end frameworks, CMS themes, and plugins aligned with requirements.
  • • Plan and execute usability tests and A/B tests; analyze results to iterate designs.
  • • Document UI test plans, test cases, and outcomes.
  • • Collaborate with hosting or platform teams on caching, asset delivery, and CDN considerations.
  • • Incorporate privacy, security, and compliance needs into UI elements and content.
  • • Create user flows, journey maps, and interaction diagrams.
  • • Provide estimates, timelines, and constraints for design work and assets.
  • • Monitor analytics and UX metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • • Prepare handoff packages and communicate design intent to developers.
  • • Balance brand guidelines with usability, performance, and legal requirements.
  • • Select and maintain design, prototyping, and collaboration tools.
