Description
Lead enterprise energy and sustainability strategy, managing energy performance, greenhouse gas reduction, and resource efficiency across facilities; oversee audits, capital projects, renewables, compliance, and reporting to meet cost and environmental targets.
- • Develop and update enterprise energy and sustainability policies, roadmaps, and standards.
- • Analyze utility data; benchmark facilities (e.g., ENERGY STAR) to target savings.
- • Plan and oversee energy audits, retro-commissioning, and efficiency retrofits.
- • Build business cases and prioritize projects based on ROI, risk, and operational impact.
- • Manage budgets and funding, including incentives, rebates, and grants.
- • Procure equipment, services, and renewable energy (PPAs, RECs, on-site systems).
- • Ensure compliance with energy, building performance, and environmental regulations and disclosures.
- • Establish and track KPIs for energy, emissions, water, and waste; maintain dashboards.
- • Direct measurement and verification and validate savings for incentives and reporting.
- • Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- • Integrate green building and commissioning practices and support certifications (e.g., LEED).
- • Produce executive reports and presentations on performance, risks, and savings.
- • Lead employee engagement and outreach on energy conservation and sustainable operations.
- • Maintain GHG inventories and implement reduction strategies aligned with corporate targets and ESG frameworks.
