Plan and analyze surveys to deliver actionable insights. Define objectives, design and test questionnaires, ensure data quality and weighting, monitor field performance, and present documented findings in collaboration with researchers and clients.
  • • Prepare and present analyses, tables, and visualizations that explain methods and results.
  • • Consult with stakeholders to define survey objectives, target populations, and sample requirements.
  • • Analyze survey and auxiliary data using statistical software and apply weighting, variance estimation, and tests.
  • • Clean, code, and validate survey data; manage codebooks and data dictionaries.
  • • Research background literature and benchmarks to inform questionnaire content and measures.
  • • Program, test, and support deployment of questionnaires across modes (web, phone, in-person).
  • • Collaborate with researchers and field partners on survey planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • • Review field data quality and provide feedback to interviewers and support staff.
  • • Monitor sample disposition, response rates, and nonresponse patterns; recommend adjustments.
  • • Document questionnaire revisions, sampling, data collection, weighting, and imputation decisions.
  • • Specify information sources, sampling frames, procedures, and instrument designs.
  • • Support planning and coordination for single or multiple survey waves and panels.
  • • Recommend and implement updates to survey methods and instruments based on testing and performance.
  • • Develop and deliver data quality training and guidance for recruiters, interviewers, and coders.
  • • Write interviewer and coder training guides, codebooks, and analytic SOPs.
  • • Contribute methodological input and analytic plans to research proposals and statements of work.
