Advise individuals and businesses on investments and comprehensive financial planning, including retirement, education, insurance, and tax-efficient strategies. Assess goals and risk tolerance, build and manage portfolios, and provide ongoing guidance while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • • Interview clients to assess assets, liabilities, income, expenses, insurance, taxes, goals, and risk tolerance.
  • • Develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with client objectives and time horizons.
  • • Recommend diversified investment portfolios using stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and other suitable products.
  • • Explain investment concepts, fees, risks, and market terms in clear language.
  • • Prepare proposals and present options, outlining costs and expected outcomes.
  • • Open accounts and complete required applications, disclosures, and KYC documentation.
  • • Place client-approved trades and ensure accurate, timely execution.
  • • Monitor client portfolios and market conditions; rebalance or adjust allocations as needed.
  • • Conduct periodic reviews and performance reporting with clients.
  • • Maintain accurate records of meetings, suitability determinations, and transactions in CRM.
  • • Ensure compliance with regulations and firm policies; review transactions for accuracy.
  • • Calculate and explain fees, commissions, and expenses.
  • • Identify client needs and cross-sell appropriate services, such as cash management, lending, or trust solutions.
  • • Contact prospects, network for referrals, and present available advisory services.
  • • Coordinate with CPAs and attorneys on tax and estate planning strategies.
  • • Provide guidance on retirement planning, education funding, and insurance coverage.
  • • Track economic and market developments that may impact client strategies.
  • • Prepare Investment Policy Statements documenting goals, constraints, and benchmarks.
  • • Manage onboarding, account transfers, and service requests to meet deadlines.
  • • Stay current on investment products, annuities, and managed account platforms.
  • • Verify trade confirmations, statements, and corporate actions for accuracy.
  • • Supply timely quotes, research, and portfolio updates to clients.
  • • Evaluate profitability and service levels of client relationships.
  • • Supervise or coordinate with support staff to ensure proper execution and service.
  • • Design risk management and hedging approaches when appropriate and approved.
  • • Prepare financial planning deliverables, cash-flow analyses, and retirement projections.
  • • Educate clients on tax-efficient strategies, including asset location and withdrawal sequencing.
  • • Support business development through seminars, webinars, and community events.
  • • Address client life events and liquidity needs with tailored recommendations.
  • • Maintain required licenses, certifications, and continuing education; adhere to suitability or fiduciary standards.
