Description
Lease residential or commercial properties for owners and property managers. Duties include advertising vacancies, qualifying prospects, conducting tours, negotiating lease terms, preparing and executing lease documents, coordinating move-ins and renewals, and ensuring compliance with fair housing and local rental regulations.
- • Advertise vacancies across websites, social media, signage, and listing services.
- • Generate and maintain lists of available units matching prospects' needs and budgets.
- • Respond to inquiries and schedule showings.
- • Conduct property tours, highlighting features, amenities, and community policies.
- • Verify income and employment to confirm eligibility.

- • Answer questions about maintenance, repairs, parking, pet policies, and renter’s insurance.
- • Collect holding deposits, security deposits, and prorated rent in accordance with policy.
- • Coordinate lease renewals, rent increases, and notices of non-renewal.
- • Arrange showings with current occupants and provide required entry notices.
- • Prepare marketing materials, photos, floor plans, and virtual tours.
- • Visit and assess properties before showings to confirm safety and cleanliness.
- • Liaise with property managers, owners, and accounting on approvals and funds.
- • Manage waiting lists and interest lists for upcoming availability.
- • Solicit and secure new rental listings from property owners.
- • Follow up with prospects and previous clients for referrals and retention.
- • Handle resident inquiries and route service requests to maintenance.
- • Interview prospects to assess housing needs, move-in timing, and qualifications.
