Description
Administer, analyze, and manage contracts for goods, services, and projects across the organization. Draft, review, negotiate, and coordinate execution and compliance of procurement and service agreements. Ensure value, mitigate risk, and support operational needs.
  • • Hire, train, or supervise contract specialists and analysts.
  • • Draft and review statements of work, specifications, and service level agreements.
  • • Negotiate, draft, and administer contracts, amendments, and renewals.
  • • Ensure contracts deliver best value while meeting scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • • Prepare and manage solicitations (RFP/RFQ), evaluate responses, and coordinate award recommendations.
  • • Research and evaluate vendors based on capability, price, quality, risk, and past performance.
  • • Analyze bids, pricing, and cost data to determine reasonableness and total cost of ownership.
  • • Ensure contracting activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • • Track deliverables, milestones, and service levels; resolve schedule or performance issues.
  • • Facilitate issue resolution and corrective actions with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • • Monitor contract performance and compliance; document metrics, remedies, and change orders.
  • • Maintain a centralized contract repository and accurate records of terms, obligations, and modifications.
  • • Conduct market and industry research to support sourcing and contracting decisions.
  • • Partner with departments to forecast needs and plan contract strategies.
  • • Lead supplier due diligence, site visits, and capability assessments.
  • • Coordinate payment terms, invoicing milestones, and acceptance criteria with Finance.
  • • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and risks impacting contracts and pricing.
  • • Develop and improve contracting policies, templates, and procedures.
  • • Attend industry events and professional forums to stay current on contracting practices and networks.
